Loretta Whitehorn is an experienced healthcare leader with extensive expertise in child protection, public health, and organisational leadership. Over two decades, she has held senior roles across South Australia’s health and child protection systems, specialising in strategic service development, trauma‑informed practice, and the delivery of critical forensic and child wellbeing services.
As a Board Member of Backpacks 4 SA Kids, Loretta brings strategic insight, governance experience, and a lifelong commitment to supporting children experiencing crisis. She is driven by a belief that every child deserves safety, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive, and she is proud to contribute her expertise to an organisation providing essential care at moments of greatest need.
